This is my diptych. I'm really not too thrilled about it just b/c it doesn't look very good. I liked the idea and thought it would end up turning out a lot beter than it did. This was done with acrylic paint.

Anatomy of the Eye

This is probably the only altered book page i've ever done and actually done a descent job on. Of course, i like it because its graphite and that's about the only thing i like to use. This doesn't have much decor or anything, just the anatomy of the eye. A little messy but i like it.

Polyptych

This is by far my favorite piece of this year. I'm really proud of it because i love drawing with graphite and drawing the human body. Its always very intricate with a lot of lines and shadows and i like highlighting those and bringing them out to make my subject look 3-dimensional. If i could i would take a little more time on it because parts of it are sloppy but overall i'm really proud of this piece.

This is my Wizard of Oz piece. I used paint on this and that is not one of my strong points so its not as good as I'd like it to be but i do think it turned out ok. The craftsmanship is a little poor but i wanted a more unfinished look to this so i like it overall.

These two pieces are my back and front cover for my CD project. I really liked this project because I used GIMP and it really works good. I was not too sure about it at first but it started turning out a lot better once i started experimenting with different techniques.

This one is called Defiance. That's what the letters spell, so i thought it would be an appropriate title. This is done with acrylic paint. I don't normally like using paint so it didn't turn out too hot.

This one is called The River. I used prisma color and graphite for this. Those are my two favorite mediums so i like this one the best out of everything i've done this year so far. I probably could've done a better job on the shading.

This is probably my favorite peice I have done. This is from Art 1 where we took our pencil and just drew a lot of lines then found a shape amidst the chaos and colored it with Prisma Color. I like shading a lot so this was fun.

This is a peice from Art 1. A very basic drawing of a girl in a chair with a flute that i went over with in India Ink. I put a background on it and put a lot of patterns in it.

This is a peice from Art 1 where we had to draw someone and trace it with India Ink then fill in the background with a medium of our choice. I chose to use Prisma Colors because I like the effect they have when the blend.
This is a 2-point perspective peice I did from Art 1. It is probably the most abstract peice I've done because I'm usually into more still lifes and portraits but I do like this peice.
